We at Power Mulch Systems, quite by accident, found out
about mulch blower trucks almost four years ago. One of
the partners had just finished installing by hand 50
cubic yards of pine bark mulch, when he went on a
business trip to Eugene, Oregon. It was there that he
saw his first pneumatic blower truck for installing
mulch and doing seeding and erosion control. His first
thought was, “I sure wish there had been one of these
trucks around when I was installing mulch. I bet there
are other people who would feel the same way.” When he
learned that the trucks could install about 40 cubic
yards of mulch in about an hour, and the mess of wheel
barrows, shovels, and rakes would be gone, he knew that
this was something that there was a market for in North
Carolina.
Since that time we have gone from one truck to three and
have installed over 150,000 cubic yards of mulch and
compost in almost four years. We have added the
Filtrexx line of erosion control products for the
newest, most environmentally friendly erosion control
methods, and have on staff two individuals who have been
through the National Playground Safety Inspectors course
to be able to handle all of your playground surfacing
needs.
We have a full service mulch yard and have access to
almost any type of mulch or certified compost made. We
can install these products or sell in bulk.
We have done installation for the NC DOT, many school
systems, colleges and universities, business, and
residential. We contract with landscapers and builders
around the triangle. We also have associated companies
around North Carolina that we work with to provide all
these services in all areas of the state.
Please take the time to read through our website to
learn more about our company and how we can reduce your
headaches with erosion control and mulching solutions.
